Head of the Hyuuga clan or not, Hinata is a great character. Plain and simple.

Thanks for sharing @ Naruto<3 Hinata!

This actually a mis-translation. She isn't the head of the clan. Just a "member."

As much as i'd like for her too be and have it be a XOF (kisses and hugs with a big FU) too her haters and father. I'm resigned that is retired as a ninja.

Yeah, what racefan1992 said in terms of it being a mistranslation.

I don't know if retired is the best word for Hinata's status though. I do think she'll refrain from missions until Himawari is a genin.

Hinata has accomplished everything she has set out too do in her life. Why not go out in your prime and settle down?

I realize she may want too but i do see why she should continue.

I think saying she's "in reserve" might be more accurate than "retired." That's how I've always seen Kurenai for instance or how I saw Hiruzen when he wasn't Hokage anymore because Minato had the job (and how I currently see both Kakashi & Tsunade as Naruto has the job).

I just don't think anyone that can still fight is ever actually retired in the Naruto universe.
